GeForce2 MX
quick question;
my current graphics setup should''ve been retired ages ago (Velocity 128 + *ack* Monster 3D (yes, a Voodoo Graphics)), and now the time has finally come to purchase a bit more oomph.
I was thinking of picking up the first and best GeForce2 MX-card to come my way (they should hit the shelves in the next week, or maybe two, here in Norway). unless this is stupid, of course.
is it a sound choice (for developing OpenGL-developing, naturally)?
The chip is very great. But I want to see how the cards perform first... The MX is for low-end 3D cards, which mean you might end up having a 32MB SDR card... Better wait for more infos before buying.

depends on your budget...
there''s the new ATI radeon 64 Mb
geforce 2 gts 64 Mb or 32
geforce 1 ddr
that would be my preferences in that order..
go to www.tomshardware.com to see a review of graphic cards..
STAY AWAY FROM VOODOO 5 at all cost !!!!
Quake sucks!
