Milkshape question

Hi all, I''m using Milkshape 3d to convert some MDL files to .X files, and I am encountering a small snag. WIth most MDL files the animations actually move the character off-center, such as when running the model will move forward instead of just going through the motions. I would like to lock the model in place before exporting so that the engine doesn''t have to worry about adjusting for it. I am pretty sure this can be accomplished fairly smoothly by keeping the root joint centered along the x,z axes. The only way I could come up with doing this is to go through each keyframe, move the root joint to center, then re-set the keyframe. But I don''t see any way to manually set the position of a joint. I can drag the joint to what *looks* close, and it works kinda, but it makes the animation a little jumpy because I can''t get it perfectly centered just by dragging it. Any ideas on how to manually edit the position of a bone would be great, or any other suggestions on how to lock the model in-place. Thanks Krippy
