Yup, what Veovis said. You might want to do a bit more research on traditional 2d animation. Since you''re doing a comedic animation, the twelve rules should apply quite nicely.
Also, I would recommend using textures on the eyes for the blinking, instead of having the eyes just "disappear" during the blink. It unfortunately is distracting because the shadows also dissappear, immediately drawing your attention to the fact that the eyes are just two objects glued to the front of the blender...
Other than that, it''s good progress. It wouldn''t take much to make this a stellar animation.

thanks for the feedback everyone.
a lot of what has been mentioned was also pointed out by my lecturer when he saw it, along with trying to keep the camera moving as much as possible.
i''ve changed a few things to make it a bit better (not posted a new video though, so don''t download it again!!) based on things said here/ at uni.
i should point out though that things such as the wrist motion would just be more of a headache for me right now than anything, we deal with bones and things next year, what i have here is rudimentary simply becuase i''ve had to work it out as i go along. the title of the brief was "a moving device" so the emphasis was actually more on the toaster doing what toasters do (only with eyes
) rather than fluid limb movements.
same with the disappearing eyes as well, i''ll fix things like that when i know how best to do it, they again were just a simple solution.
i''m keeping all my files for this project though so i can go back at make it better as my skills improve becasue, as i said, this is a first project and i''d only really been using MAX for about 4 weeks before starting work on the models.
thanks again for the advice everyone, and good luck on your course too Veovis!
