Actually i have this book on how to use Red Hat Linux 6.0. i''ve Googled and Kazaa''ed but can''t find that version to download. i was wondering if anyone had a link or site i could go to download this version. OR could i use that book (for ver. 6.0) and use a newer version with no problem?

Why does you not simply download a newer version?

Generally you download an ISO image to burn onto a CD which you will use to boot your computer with.

ftp.sunet.se/pub/os/Linux/distributions/redhat/redhat/linux/6.2/

go to directory that conforms to your language or en for english,
choose iso and download (hope 6.2 will do - they don''t have 6.0)
