Force Feedback: Any Third Party Devices?
- Someone less computer-literate than I asked me this question a while back, and I didn''t flucking know, I hadn''t run across any. Aside from freaky Japanese sex-toys, does anybody besides Microsoft make Force Feedback game controllers? Or devices? Anything? All we have seen is the MS stick and wheel. . . - Lubb

Hmm....I don´t know why people want those force-feedback devices I think they´re just a joke....
the only future they have is virtual sex. no I''m not a pervert, just stating what I think will happen.

Force Feedback is cool! Wait till you play Descent : Freespace on it, great, really adds to the effect.
Both logitech and Act-Labs make forcefeedback devices, both can be programmed using DX

- It might be cool, if - for instance, the force-feedback told you something about your situation in the game that you otherwise wouldn''t know, but then the game would require a FF-controller. And the MS joystick isn''t cheap, , and it don''t have a lot of aux buttons on it , , , (sigh). I looked at a local electronics/computer store today, and they still want $100 for the MS-FF joystick. Which is about what they wanted a year or so ago ($130? IIRC). All the other game controllers that old are priced half of what they started out at, or less, in many cases. - Lubb
