i''m working on a puzzle game ala "Pusher" (but different) in BlitzBasic, and i want some background music to give the game extra quality. I''m no musician so maybe someone can help me out, it will be a freeware game, so i don''t have anything in return, except a mention on the credits-screen ofcourse :D It''s a puzzle game, so a moody/spacy slow-beat track (no 160BMP techno dance tunes) with a distinctive melody and stuff. Maybe with piano, panflute that sort of thing. The format must be .MOD or S3M or XM and not too big (somewhere between around 200 or 400kb max) smaller=better geez, I''m pretty specific aren''t I ? :D anyway i hope someone can help me out
Just one track

Is the MOD functionality built into BlitzBasic, or are you using some 3rd party middleware? If so, which?
I have a sneaking suspicion that Blitz uses FMOD, it supports all tracker formats (IT, XM, S3M, MOD) as well as an array of other formats.
"Mommy, where do microprocessors come from?"
Yes, i use the built-in music functions of BlitzBasic (PlayMusic(), StopMusic() etc). BlitzBasic uses the FMOD library but in the end everything is compiled into one .EXE so no DLL's and such but why do you ask?

Make the graphics/sound good and release it as $10 shareware... you''ll be surprised at the results.

I ask because I can see what sort of special functions are built into the application. For example, if you were using the BASS add-in, one could work with compressed samples, etc etc.
Just to know in order to produce.
