I have just tried to profile my latest project to get function timing. I get thr error fatal error PRF1011: cannot open file c:\shootemup\debug\shootemup.map Does anyone have any suggestions?? and what is a .map file? Thanks

Look in the documentation for your compiler.

Here you find what a .map file is.

Else it sounds as if your map-file is not created for some reasons.
