Alex,
I can''t wait to see the copy of the book. I was VERY honored to have had the opportunity to review it (and quite pleased that one of my comments is going to be printed on it - it''s great for picking up chicks at the bookstore!) Anyway, I''m dying for some new reading material and the stuff that I read was mighty fine... I still have it here on my laptop and I read it for fun once in a while. (Am I kissing up yet?)

heh, my involvement with the book is over. Apparently it's printing, but I've been out of the loop for quite a few weeks now. I would expect it to ship soon, around mid november. That's a good thing for you readers, 'cos you can still get it for the bargain price of 27 GBP! (It makes an author's stomach churn

I''m still bucking to get Steve, Eric and Neil to let me be the 4th "AI Guy" at the GDC... or like the "3 AI Guys'' trustsy sidekick" :D
BTW, I tried shooting Geta (Eric) an email yesterday on something else and his address bounced. I guess he shut down his consulting service and moved to Tulsa for a full-time gig with a game company whose name escapes me at the moment. Anyone have his new address?

Hehe... maybe the publisher will actually send me a free copy, in lieu of the payment cheque they still haven''t sent me for my reviewing services! Then again, I doubt it... if they couldn''t put a single piece of paper in an envelope and send that across the world, I doubt they''ll squeeze 600 pages into an envelope and get that to Australia! 8^(

. Timkin reviewed the original proposal, so there was no guarantee of a book. It was a different company too (SAMS), before they reshuffled their assests internally.Besides, people were queueing up for reviewing the final product... or so I dreamt
