windows xp problems with xp.
hello everyone.
i looked at the opengl lessons and decided to try opengl programing in scheme (i''m studing a scheme cours) but i cant get opengl to work propertly in windows xp. I got a Geforce2 mx card and using the latest detonator drives, but i cant use ANY opengl aplications.
In varius aplications i mostly get a error msg. like "cant create a GL rendering contex" or "GL context is not ok". what the ..... does this mean? am i using the wrong drives for my video card? is something wrong in windows? what can i do to fix this?
I usally never use opengl so im a real newbie.
thanxs for the great tutorial in scheme.

Have you uninstalled your previous gfx drivers before installing new ones?
Neglecting to do this has caused similar errors for me in d3d.
BTW Detonators are no longer the latest drivers

no, i did not remove the old drivers first.
how did you solve your problems with d3d?
ok they are not called detonator any more.. the point is that i got the drives from nvidia.com.

Also, reboot
If a faulty OpenGL application crashes badly, other ones will no longer work
Happens when eg a demo crashes, then none work anymore, requires a reboot
