Does anyone now how to extract the loop information (the milsec. time of each loop marker) from a wav file so that I can pass that info into a function?

Check out wotsit.org, that lists heaps of technical information about file formats. That will probably tell where and how the information is stored in the file (and if you''re lucky, might give you code to read it).
