Why does my installation fail at like the 3rd step, not recognizing the RedHat9 install cd? It obviously booted from this cd, and I ran "linux mediacheck" and the md5 checks out. How can it boot from a CD and then not recognize it? I can''t install RedHat on this box from CD...I looked at the dir structure in WinXP, and it looks fine. Any tips? Any options i can pass to the boot: command line?

Installing RedHat9 from CD
Could be a b0rked drive (I realise the md5s check out, but bit that it checks for probably isn''t in the filesystem). Try in a different machine/drive.
linuxquestions.org is a good place for issues such as this. Of course, there''s always redhat if you''re using a boxed set.
