Kernel-Source uninstall and install

Right now I just did rpm -e to my kernel-source 2.6 , so I could go back to the old one. Then I did rpm -i (kernel source new stable release), but in the terminal, both froze. I am afraid to restart the computer because I might loose everything. Edit: Nevermind, I restarted it and it seems to be ok i guess. [edited by - HTML on October 13, 2003 8:41:28 PM]
goto /var/lib/rpm and delete the files that start with __db
