Canon i950 in linux
Where can I get printer drivers for the Canon i950? I use SuSE 8.2 and KDE with CUPS, though I have GNOME installed as well.
Thank you.
PS: It''s an amazing printer, btw. Its got amazing colour and is really soft (I can tell because it works fine in Windows). I''m also impressed by the borderless printing though most modern printers have that.

None of the free printer driver projects seem to support any of the Canon i* series of printers for whatever reason.
I found this mailing list response using Google that might help. I couldn''t find a link to those files (or any other way to access them) on Canon''s English website, or I''d link to it instead.
The commercial product Turboprint appears to support the Canon i950, but I''ve read online that their support is far from complete.

turboprint got my Canon i550 to work (the test page printed well), and it's easy to setup.
EDIT: I just found out that turboprint will always print it's logo (big and in the middle of the page) on every page unless you buy a license key, so don't use it, unless you wanna pay (paying for your printer to work, no bloody way !).
