Mozilla video streaming plug-in
Do any of you know of a good and stable video streaming plug-in for mozilla? I''ve tried gxine but it crashes the browser someting terrible. I''ve heard mplayer was good but a bitch to install so I haven''t tried that yet. Does anyone know of anything else thats *nix native along these lines or will I be stuck with pretty much these two?

Since no one else is responding, I might as well make a not-really-informative response that bumps the post back up, at least .
I have not tried any XINE based plug-ins for Mozilla, but I did try the MPlayer plug-in for a while. It did seem to work, but I found how it worked to sometimes be annoying; since I was just testing it anyway, I uninstalled it. It wasn''t a pain to install for me because I''m lazy and use unofficial Debian repositories, but I do remember how it was to install by hand and ensure that it was built with everything it could offer .
Those two backends are probably your best options, but I''m not sure if there are more options for plug-ins using them as backends that might be better. GStreamer isn''t mature enough yet for use as an all-around (embedded) video player yet (although it''s fine for audio), or I''m sure there''d be a plug-in for it available.
