Had KDE went to Gnome and it broke..How do I get back to kde in root?

Title ^ I forgot I didn''t install KDE now it does failsafe and I can''t get back to KDE because I don''t know what the command is. Anyone know the command to uninstall Gnome and reinstall KDE? I can''t find it in my Linux book... THanks
You should be able to edit your .xinitrc in your home directory. Comment out the gnome-session line and put in "exec startkde".
