I want to start making game mods....
I have no clue in where to begin... I know C++ and have a game in mind(Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast) and have no clue in how to make mods... can any one tell me(point me) into the right direction

They didn''t ever release an SDK for jedi outcast, id recommend starting modding on Half-Life. But wait for Half-Life 2. And if you amke a good mod for JK II lemme know.
Generally you should be safe making a mod for Half-life One. Why? It is a learning exercise, and no matter whether you wait for Half-life 2 to come out or not, this mod probably will not be the pinacle of your coding career. Making a mod for Unreal, or Half-life One should be fine.
