I know alot of you don''t like VB, but I was wondering about some stuff. I can use DX7 through V.B., is there a way to use OpenGL in V.B.? I''m not going to be doing anything heavily graphic but it will have some 3D and just want to know.

I belive not. VB is controlled by MS so there is very little chance it will support any MS competitors.

Actually, you can use OpenGL with VB. There is a type-library available that will let you use it. You can get it at:

I have some opengl samples on my site too, Voodoo VB
http://voodoovb.cjb.net

they''re in the source code section.

Thanks for the information. It actually looks worth pursuing. Like I said, it''s not going to be anything graphic intensive, but it will let me get my feet wet in OGL, as I am still learning C/C++.
