Hey Programmers! I have a little problem...I did NeHe''s multitexturing-tutorial and now I don''t know what are extensions and what is their matter, can anybody help me?

Extensions are extra-features beside the standart OpenGL functions. For example multitexturing. Multitextureing is not supported by the OpenGL. But it can be used throught Extensions (but only if your graphic card supports it).
