Aren''t they just zip files? Just use winzip/winrar or search google

AFAIK pk3 files are zip files with another extension. Check the header, if the first two bytes are PK it''s a zip package.
Hi ...

You can treat the .pk3 like a normal zip-archive ....
just open/unpack it with winzip or whatever tool you like.

Perhaps you have to rename it to .zip for winzip, but i'm not sure

Hope this helps ..

EDIT : Posting took too long ... only 3rd :-)

Just rename it to zip, or -=force=- WinZip/Rar/Ace to open it even though it isn''t registred as their files.

another great tool is pakscape. It nativly supports them and they are opened like a directory so you can use the proper folders easily. Uh... google for it
