I have a client structure which I dont think is very important but in case it is.. in contains.. SOCKET sockaddr_in bool (to see if it''s in use) Anyways I have an Aync server setup but when I receive messages to FD_CLOSE or FD_READ how can I tell which one of my clients are trying to disconnect or send me information? I''ve always done 1 on 1 things and I couldn''t figure this one out

Just check the wParam, it has a handle to the right socket.

ah man you are my savoir!! I kept checking the wParam but it was just a bunch of different numbers each time, so THATS what it is =)

edit: i had to come back and thank again, you have no idea how long I've been pondering this answer, my networking knowledge is completely revolutionized now lol
