Just Another Game Idea

There are many FPS games out as we all know, however it takes something special to make it any better than the rest. Here is my idea. The story is basically this, you are a man or woman (you choose). You live in a modern day location. You have no qualifications and so end up with the unsavoury types you find. The game offers alot of freedom, you can basically join up with a huge amount of different gangs and or do odd jobs for people who want to employ you. Jobs could be things like doing a window in, to killing some mob boss. There would be many features in the game to make it slightly realistic, for example, if you break a window, a member of the public may notify the police, who will eventually come to the poistion of the incident and then will result in confrontation. The thing is, you can choose what to do if you get caught, maybe you will attack the police or just run and hide away for a while. I could write a long detailed set of notes here but I dont know if it''s a good idea and also I cant see the point if people think its crap anyway
So basically, its a simulation of real life where you can do anything and everything you do affects everything else in the game world.

You gonna program that are you?

LOL I se your point. Thing is, if you are at a good enough level to program games, why not actually do something usefull and more profitbalt and program for these companies who make applications for business''es.
Well this is just a vague concept. It''s not really an idea that one (you) would have to work hard to come up with. And also - It has already been done to whatever extents that technology has allowed.

Do you think that it has what it takes to give the audience the wow-effect needed? And if the idea has what it takes, do you? and does technology?

There is a reason that there are few games like that, even though almost any one can come up with it (You may take that as an insult if you like, however that is not how it''s intended).
