I''ve made two or three tetris clones and I enjoy it so much, that I''m thiniking about doing another one. However, I''m kind of running out of ideas to make it interesting. Can anyone point me to some websites with really cool tetris implementations, so I can get some new ideas? -Dave
Have you ever played wetrix? That game was really cool. Make a game like that.

I saw a real good variation the other day called Quaternion at Spin Studios.

Well, I tried to make a Tetris game, but I couldn''t get it to work, so, since you know how to make them, maybe you can make it instead. Basically, it was more of a Columns style game, or Dr. Mario type (if you ever played that, don''t know). You had to stack 3 like items to make them disappear, unlike tetris where you have to stack shapes to form a complete line. Anyway, the twist to the game was that the items you were stacking was animals, like monkeys, pandas, etc. When you stacked 3, the disappeared by crushing eachother into a bloody pulp, with limbs flying across the screen and screaming. It was really hilarious but I had problems getting everything to work correctly. Kinda a morbid humor, granted, but it was still hilarious! :-)
