I''v been thinking about sourceforging my racing game project, but I hardly know any CVS.
What are the pros and cons?
Any thought about this? Is it good idea?

Well, as with almost all things that a programmer has to learn, for CVS it''s just a question of RTFM. But anyway, I''d recommend anyone to publish his/her project on sf.net. It won''t hurt you know, and a lot of people might have fun with it. Plus you might get help in development and/or beta-testing for free....
Newbie programmers think programming is hard.Amature programmers think programming is easy.Professional programmers know programming is hard.

I hate "RTFM" answers to questions. Sometimes the manuals are lame, and CVS isn''t the easiest thing to learn. Let''s try to really help this person out...
Code Historian - Has CVS support, and seems to plug into Visual Studio fairly well.
WinCVS - Oldest and probably most developed product I''ve seen for windows users hoping to use CVS.
CVSSCC - This appears to be dead now, but appeared to be one of the better VSC++ integrations. Wonder where he went? Anyway...
More Info...
Hope this helps.

This is the guide to CVS: http://cvsbook.red-bean.com/cvsbook.html
"Laughter means distance. Where laughter is absent, madness begins. The moment one takes the world with complete seriousness one is potentially insane. The whole art of learning to live means holding fast to laughter; without laughter the world is a torture chamber, a dark place where dark things will happen to us, a horror show filled with bloody deeds of violence."

its good if you get to CVS.
but even if you cannot get used to CVS(as i never succeeded), there is no harm to get your work shared on sourceforge.

Gut, thanks!
At least I''ll give it a try
CVS looks nice, because I develop on multiple computers and platforms.
My summer vacation starts after some weeks hopefully, then I have more time to do this. I need to organize everything a bit before, there''s still quite much stuff there.
btw. IHTRTOPOTFM!!!
