Hey, I have just recently finished this C++ in 24 hours book by sams, and want to put some of my knowledge to use. I am interested in learning Win32 libraries, I have had a look at gametutorials.com, and I am sure their tutorials are very good, but I don''t really like learning by viewing overcommented code. I need to find some sort of website that has good tutorials on Win32, although I have had a better history with books, if anyone can suggest me a book (disregarding pricing) I would be most appreciatiive. and thanks to everyone who has helped me in the past, I hope I can return the favor by helping others out. >> Reiken

And get yourself a copy of Charles Petzolds "Programming Windows" and Jeff Richter''s "Programming Applications"

If I see "learn -insert language here- in x hours/days" I just run in the opposite direction.
Seriously though, the books are good for a primer, but I''ve always found better quality primers online.

I find this book useful as a reference and using that in conjunction with other books or online resources, it can be very helpful.
