Can anyone point me in the right direction; how to do alpha blending with say 256 different amount of transparancy in OpenGL? (it is possible right?) I'm thinking about doing some clouds that that are non transparent in the middle and then more transparent on the edges. Hope this wasn't to silly a question... /Andreas [edited by - f97ao on March 6, 2003 11:22:39 PM]

oh i no what! go to nehes site! http://nehe.gamedev.net
it wil be in one of his tutoriels
I looked there but couldn''t find it. I''m not talking about masking if that''s what you''re thinking about.
I will look at the tutorials a little closer and try to find it.
Anyone tried Vertexcolor transparency? this should do the trick also.
