rendering??
i guys
i asked this question before but i didn''t get any replys.so let me ask again.how do u render a scene in 3ds max and save it.
You render your scene, click save, give it a name and location... hey presto! It''s saved!
FYI, he wants to render an animation to a video file (if his question is the same as before). I don''t know how to do this myself, though.

See my other post.
In the render scene dialog, chose the range of frames from the top section instead of single frame (i don''t have the dialog in front of me, so this is from memory). Then click files, put in the file name, and chose to save it as an avi file. When you click OK, a dialog box will pop up asking what codec to use. I suggest either divx or cinepak codec by radius. Then click render and it will save the selected frames in the file.
