if u want some explain u can write me an email, the algo it''s too too too simply.

Hey pal, why all these secrets?

If the algorithm is simple and everybody can understand it, you can post some explanations about it.

I really don''t undestand why you want people to e-mail you, instead...

Maybe we can re-start that sub-thread of particle physics, also .

And it''s de-compression, not de-encryption.

And if Winzip does a better job than you, why should I care about your algorithm?

"The world isn't run by weapons anymore; or energy, or money; it's run by little ones and zeroes, little bits of data -- it's all just electrons."
"If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music he hears, however measured or far away"--Henry David Thoreau

for the one who ask for cpu usage i can say he that my first program compress it with 15%usage of cpu, for the one who ask me the algo i don''t want to spam it, for the other that say me ''bout winzip i say he that with my compression can play the video with winzip not

When you say %10, do you mean that the compressed file is %10 the size of the original file, or do you mean that the file is %10 smaller?

I would definatly believe the second one, but the first one is quite a stretch.

Finally somebody noticed that. It was meant as a joke since the last guy to start this sort of thread (why isn''t kieren_j postting here?) was scrambling data not compressing. And I figure that''s what 99% of the guys who think they''ve compressed the Library of Congress on to a grain of rice have actually done. The other 1% are just plain wrong.
