3d models - downloads || tutorials
hi, i''m new to gameprogramming, thats why i need some help...
first of all, my english is not very good although i''m a native speaker, so don''t bother...
is there anywhere a good introduction to 3d modeling or any advices? i''m speaking about *.md2 models.
what is mesh, etc.?
i got milkshape on my mashine, but don''t really know what to do....

You post isnt very clear. Do you want information on how to use 3d models in code or do you want information on making 3d models with Milkshape or another 3d app?
I assume you want information on creating 3d objects. If so you should first chose a 3d app. Looks like you said you got milkshape. Then go to Google and search for tutorials. Search for ''milkshape+tutorials''. You should get loads of hits.
Personally, I use Blender. Its a bit more complicated than Milkshape, but its open source. You can download it at www.blender.org. They have quite a few tutorials their as well. There is a user community at www.elysiun.com. Great place to get help, ask questions and what not.
If you want information on how to load and manipulate meshes in code, you might be getting in over your head if you are new to programming. Go to nehe.gamedev.net and start there. Great tutorials on beginning 3D with OpenGL. That site also has some really advance tuts on 3D as well.
