On a different note - I''ve been searching the www for a couple of hours now for any file format description on the FT2 (FastTracker)/ScreamTracker instrument file format - the .xi . The funny thing is - there is none. I can''t understand this - I can''t believe this format would be 1) not officially documented for public use, 2) if the latter holds false, not reverse engineered and unofficially documented.

Anyway, does anyone know of a place to read about this format or perhaps have some useful inormation to share? I already know something about its contents, but not enough to make a dumper....

Well, Maz(www.maz-sound.com) wrote an converter for the .xi format. If you grab his email, perhaps he could be able to share the format with you, or point you in a good direction to figuring it out.
