The physics of velco
Ok, other than the title this really has nothing to do with physics. Rather just an amazing discovery I just had to share. I was at the local electronics store today and thought while I was there I would look for something to deal with the cables on my laptop. The only tie wraps I could find that didn''t have to be cut off where these fuzzy things. I thought not exactly what I''m looking for, but I''ll give it a try. When I got out to the jeep I opened the package and got one out. Hum, how strang, fuzzy tie wraps, I guess that is to protect the cables or something. Traffic was backed up so I reached over to pick it up and look at it again, but it was stuck to the rest of them. They weren''t fuzzy, they were velco. Expensive little things, I think about 60 cents a piece, but they work great. You can use them either like a regular tie wrap or fasten it to one part of the cable then wrap it around when you coil it up.
Strange how it is the simple things that amaze me. First it was the stamps you don''t have to lick and now it is the velco tie wrap.
