How to make the lib. ???

I believe some folks here have used it before, and you can browse threads within the past couple of months to look for "physics engine" topics. ODE has been discussed recently.

As for "building" the library, you may also want to post a thread in the "General Programming" forum, since there may be more discussion of makefiles and compiler configuration there. This is more of a forum to discuss math and physics specifically, not configuration of tools.
