Hello Everyone... I am TrenchClone. I am here because I have been working with a book called Developer''s Guide to Multiplayer Games. I have worked through it alittle.. then I hit a stop. These Static Libraries for Visual Studio 6.0 ... I don''t get how to set them up or to use them. I need to set them up to read mysql++-1.7.1-1-win32-vc++ and also the code involved with the connection ect. I dont get it! I am trying to work with MySQL C++ interface and I am using VC++ 6.0 in Visual Studio which is suggested in this book and also used. I am just so lost because of this static libraries. According to this it is a static Link library. It seems to use a .cpp and a .h ... but I don''t get it!!!! Please any help will be greatly apprieciated. TrenchClone~HDC
