making textures for 3d models
I''m trying to make some textures for a 3d model of a space ship that I have designed in 3ds max 4. Ideally, I''d like to be able to take the top and side wireframe views of the ship and import that into photoshop so that I could use it as an outline for the texture. Is that possible at all?
What you''re looking for is the UVUnwrap modifier I believe. There are other variations out there like Textporter and whatnot that do the same thing if I''m not mistaken. It''s been a while
