I''ve been using the BETA version of Dev-C++ 5 since the summer and have never had any problems with it. I got a new hard drive for christmas and startied moving some files from my old one. I moved the Dev-C++ folder too and later wanted to do some coding so ran Dev-C++ but then realized that all the file paths would still be pointing to my old hard drive so i moved the Dev-C++ folder back. But now when i try to compile i get the following error: Fatal C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\Fatal ''all-before'' does not exist - don''t know how to make it I checked all the paths in the various options and they''re all correct, i moved everything back the way it was but it still refuses to work! I installed Dev-C++ 4 cause i had the setup files handy and tried it with all the Dev-C++ 5 files and it works perfectly, but Dev-C++ 5 still wont work... Does anyone have any ideas? Or will i be forced to download everything again (with my sloooooow modem... ) Thanks for any help.
I've been using Dev-Cpp for about a year or so, and have never had any problems like yours...

My suggestion is that you download the newest Version of Dev-C++ from devcpp.sourceforge.net I think and install it.

They create new version very rapidly about one a week or so.. Atleast it looks like that for me...

Well hope you get it to work...

As i said i''ve never had any problems with it before, this is the first time...

I''ve used Dev-C++ 5 since the summer and Dev-C++ 4 for about a year before that and i''ve NEVER EVER had any problems...

I cant figure it out at all, i moved everything back the way it was and checked all the settings but it made no difference.

I wouldn''t mind too much, but for some reason my computer won''t download it again... Quicktime or some $hít keeps telling me theres missing software which is required to finnish the download... if it wasn''t for that id have redownloaded it already and wouldn''t have bothered asking about it...
Well, you are using a BETA version,
you should know what this meens..
It aint perfect

Nothing and all, by some meaning, no difference
