Can some people give me some help here please?
Hi guys! I''m VERY new to everything and I''m obsessed with gaming and computers, I''m 16 and have first class honours, ETC.. So I''m able to learn. So can some of you answer me some questions? All answers are equal, and will be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

#1. Are graphics and programming directly related? Or are graphics programmed in the language? I think they are made in separate progs tho.
#2. What software is used to make 3d models and animation?
#3. What language is usally used in game production? c ++?
#4. How hard is it to begin with basic programming and into the programming of a simple game engine?
I AM PISS POOR CLUELESS!

#1. There are related. Most graphics are done using an API such as Direct X or OpenGL. Sorry I should say graphics programming. Programming in a certain language is totally separate from any graphics library. Those libraries will have to be linked to your compiler of choice to be used, assuming the libraries support the language you are using.
#2. 3Ds Max, 3D GameStudio, MilkShape and others you can Google.
#3. Nowadays C++ but C is used also. But you can program a game in any language as long it has libraries to support it! Just have to do research...
#4. "How hard it is" depends on your level of comprehension and willingness to learn. I''d give it 2 or 3 months, personally. Though you may find your programming skills sharpen in a shorter or longer time period. Depends all on you. And a game engine... well people here will tell you it''s not as easy as you think it is. Be prepared to put in some long hours on that one... if you''re good enough that is.
Anyway, I suggest you go to the For beginners section and read up on there first. Note anything you don''t understand or are unsure about and come back here and ask questions. Just make you know how to programming before you start trying to make a game. Also check the book section!
