Cos, Sin, Tan - What is it?

Dang. At least in Finland trig is taught in the upper level of comprehensive school. Therefore it's clear that the buddy is not in high school and practically definitely has no "school library" or such.

Back when I was in comprehensive school I studied trigonometry from this *GREAT* tutorial by KiwiDog (I recommend it for everyone):

Nice tutorial Mikko. Thanks for posting the link. The ASCII figures leave something to be desired, though!

There is a general forum FAQ that mentions some formatting options. If you have other specific formatting issues that you''d like to see covered, let me know. I can at least add them to this forum''s FAQ.
