I want to move a shape using joystick please help me

These are joystick functions you can look up in MSDN. I''m sure it''s better to use DirectInput but I don''t know DirectX.

I know a lot about using DXinput.....but I need to know what the use of the joystick is before I can give you a good source code example(like the use of buttons and how many you are using).
