hello everyone.. i have been studying OpenGL for 3 weeks now and ROCKS!!!!!.. i want to know how do you play music etc.. ? thank you for reading my post
I''d just like to clear this up for you, OpenGL cannot play sounds because it is simply a graphics library (hence OpenGL). For a quick and dirty way to do sound, check out NeHe''s Tutorial #32. Otherwise you''ll have to look into OpenAL, FMOD, or DirectSound (I can think of any other APIs right now).

Don''t forget the BASS, Seal, and MIDAS libraries. FMOD and BASS at least are free for use in noncommercial applications.

I know this is off topic and everything.. but does anyone know a good tutorial site for BASS.
Searching on google only brings up sites for Bass guitars and stuff. I''ve had no luck.

Robbie
lol perhaps you should try to search for 'BASS sound dll(! or even BASS.dll) tutorials'
