Hi,
use NeoEngine or Orgre. You can find both of them on sourceforge.net. NeoEngine is very easy to use but the interfaces change from time to time ''cause of it''s early development phase.
Ogre is also very powerful and the best of the engines : they are LPGL!
How to choose a good OpenSource 3D engine ?

Hey, Andrew. Have you used Crystal Space much? What kind of experiences have you had with it? I am just curious - cause I was thinking about using it myself...
I haven''t ever actualy got it to work (borland compiler), but I have much experience trying
After that I mainly used the documentation to learn about their 3D techniques (that''s very good). I was going to make another attempt at using it when I heard about the iso engine, but the documentation wasn''t there, so you had to work it out from the source code and the docified comments.
If you have MSVC, you shouldn''t have any problems getting it to work. It is quite a nice little engine, although, I might suggest waiting for a stable release of version one before going too far with it.
Do not meddle in the affairs of moderators, for they are subtle and quick to anger.

"AP, besides being outdated, do you think the Quake 2 engine is bad? "
To atcdevil : I think it was good for its time. However, Quake 2 was developed by a Company called ID Software, not Open Source.
And all the good games I''ve played based on the Quake2 engine use the ID software codebase not the Open Source.
So your point was ???
