I have noticed there are a lot of shareware submission services on the net, they usually charge $30-100 and they promise to submit your software to hundreds of shareware download sites. I am wondering how well do they work, anyone had any experience with them?

Just go by ''DO IT YOURSELF'' way. As a shareware developer I assume that you don''t have much to spend on marketing. I suggest you to sumbit your game to each and every shareware submission site manually (search them on google). Most of them accept PAD files so you don''t have to fill the long forms.
