What is the default directory that VC++ links the Release version of your program? Where can you change this? If my VC++ is linking a Release version I cant find it.
Hm... the \Release directory of your projects main folder?

Already checked. It has the Debug directory but not the Release.
It defaults to Debug version. To change go to Projects->Set Active Configurations (I''m pretty sure it''s under Projects). Then select "Release".
Well, you can always just check the project settings to see
exactly where the "output" directory is, and find your
EXE/LIB/DLL there...

If you haven''t compiled under Release mode (see BitBlt''s post) then you wont have a Release directory.
