I was wondering if anyone has experience with 3D GameStudio and what the pro''s and con''s were. Is this the path recommended for beginner programmers and will it pay off as I become more experienced?

I''ve got it and don''t really care for it, I think you''d be happier using blitzbasic or fastgraph for 3d and cdxlib for 2d stuff

Pretty much all of it is proprietary technology, but it will help you learn 3d game stuff

But there is a lot of nice stuff made with it, just try it out along with some of the other game makers to see what you prefer
