RTS programming + fur effects
Hey people ^_^ Couple of questions if anyone does''nt mind ^_^
First of all, does anyone have any links regarding realtime strategy programming, like path finding, enemy AI etc, but for someone who has never attempted a RTS before???
Secondly, I would really like to program fur effects into my games. Any ideas using openGL??? A sotware approach would be most helpful at the moment (as I only have a voodoo 3000 PCI at the mo), but hardware tips would be useful for when I upgrade.

It doesn''t have any "RTS Game Programming for dummies" kind of thing but it has several tutorials regarding AI, scripting, game design, and tile based games. As for FUR, I believe there is a thread here at gamedev in the Game Programming forum discussing it in games
