Well we would not necessarily have Dijkstra''s Algorithm. Despite the fact
that an A* with a zero heuristic functions much like a Dijkstra''s Algorithm
I don''t believe Dijkstra came up with A*.

Dijkstra didn''t invent A*... that honour goes to Nilsson, Hart and Raphael. He did however publish 1300 works on a diverse range of topics. He will be sadly and sorely missed by all who knew of his work and his life.
