Download Mangers
Are there any download mangers for linux that can pause downloads. Or just any way to pause downloads in linux? I''ve got a 28k and my ISP disconnects me every 2 hours so when I want to d/l a large file I have to be able to pause and resume downloads.
Newer versions of konqueror have support for resuming downloads built-in.

wget, if you like the CLI. I think -c tells wget to look for a file in the current directory with the same name as the downloaded file.
wget also has some other nice features.

The download manager in the browser opera also has the ability to resume interrupted transfers.
What about support for segmented downloads and multiple servers, like GetRight does?
It''s pretty handy to download a single file from bunches of mirrors. I used to get 400 Kps with @Home doing that.

I like the DARK layout!

mcurl for segmented downloads, IIRC
Mozilla downloads support pausing and resuming, but you have to look kinda hard to find it.(in properties. there''s not a pause/resume button on the dl manager itself) This will be fixed soon.
