game idea
Just an idea , say
Large sp or coop universe (giagantic/mmorpg/morrowind like playing field)
warhammer40k like universe + nature monsters
lets say , 1st person and a tactic overvieuw (like in ground controll, are any 3d-rts with a free camera)
large party (up to 36 members all configurable with classic rpg armore , weopons etc..)
conquere fortifications,evil hereos etc...
batlle: pause, go in tactic overvieuw, then order every unit what he has to do,then unpause , and play as a teambased tactical schooter against hordes of enemy''s, with yourself as the leader playing like an fps (you can go anytime back in to pause , to re-organize your battle
some races or sworn enemy''s and can''t be put together in one party (they would kill eatch other)
Epic storyline, but non-linear (morrowind)
rpg stats for example (aim, carryweight, heavy guns,smg,rifles,sniping,life,defense,etc...)
skills:bullet time-rocket launcher-dynimitation-dyving-stun-magic armor-call to arms-chaos-anger-fearspread-double weopon-speed-bigjump-kung-fu attack etc...
you start alone ,then reqruit npc''s etc...
interactive dialoges
interaction with npc''s and aid of them
status of party:good bad neautral , some races can''t stand pure good, some can''t stand pure evil , but more powerfull skills can be made when a race is in it''s liked status (chaos spread killing can for example only be activated when a chaos space marine is in an pure evil group/a ChaosSpaceMarine will become mental ill when in a pure good group ....) status effects interaction with npc''s and aid of them
Some races could do their job better on certain terrains etc...(like jungle desert etc..)
this would be a hole bunch of work , but there could be added sevral multyplayer variants in it like tactical only battle , 32vs32 battle like in for example counter strike , etc...
offcource thes would not be doable with the current engines , but it should be getting possible in some time , I was just wondering what people think of the idea, cuz i think it''s quite origenal and would be quite fun ,
This is my personal opinion but I don''t see what is what people and all this multi-tasking. It seems to me that from the FPS point of view I have enough enemies to deal with without having to run to take a break or let the less intelligent AI take over so I can issues orders to my army and check what their doing on their fronts, making sure they get it done right.
I believe when you play an RTS you already have enough things to do, managaing military and economy. I can''t see how everyone wants more and needs to be a part of the action as well. Considering it hasn''t been done yet, I think is one of those great in theory bad execution ideas. Sorry to be negative...

If you could arrange this outline into a game proposal format, it might be easier to give you feedback.
A game proposal consists of:
Title: Name
Platform: System
Game Overview: Brief outline of the game idea
Background/Story: Short summery of story
Game Description: How is the game played? Game details like Camera, Battle, and other systems.
Features: Key elements in your game that will make it good, or worth making in the first place.
Whenever you get a game idea, you should at least think it out to this level before asking for feedback. What will tend to happen otherwise is that your idea will not get a change to be thought out well, and could be shot down before it even has a chance to develop.
Organize and explain all the elements you just presented in this or a similar format, then repost it if you want proper feedback.

All these things point to Space Hulk: Vengeance of the Blood Angels. Look it up somewhere.
The rest of the ideas just make me think it is overambitious though.
