I just did my first oil pastel drawing and I''m planning to frame it; do I need to use spray fixative on it anyway or not?

I''ve used oil pastels a bit in art class, though I really prefer chalk pastels myself. As for the spray fixative, better safe than sorry. It is not absolutely necessary like it is for chalk pastels, especially since you are framing it, but I would spray it anyway.
