Programming for windows?
Does anyone know of any good online tutorials for programming in Windows? I think I have gotten a good grasp on Dos, but have not yet gone towards windows.
Thanks,
Max

This site [www.eastcoastgames.com] seems to have a pretty
decent windows tutorial, it even has some pretty nice diagrams and stuff.

Online tutorials are nice, but I made the $$$ sacrifice and purchased Charles Petzolds Book "Windows Programming in Win32" I think thats the title.

www.cpp-programming.com has a fairly decent tutorial on both dos and windows stuff.
i would recommend getting Tricks of the Windows Game Programming Gurus. It''s a great book overall and has several chapters on windows programming.

Some other sites you could try are:
www.codeguru.com
www.programmersheaven.com
I would reccommend getting Windows Game Programming for Dummies, I was in the same situation a few months ago (knowing dos and wanting to know windows) and that book has made it a lot easier! Good Luck
