Hi everyone!
I’d like to invite you to the next part of Birding Devlog. This time we’ll talk about examples of bird species, that can be found in the game. Of course, there will be many more birds waiting for you (over 300 species), but it is good to know, what you will be dealing with.

Hooded Merganser
A species of medium-sized bird from the Anatidae family. Characterized by a thin beak, long tail, and fan-shaped, collapsible crest that makes the head look oversized and oblong. Inhabits lakes, swamps, and forest ponds. Finds food underwater.

Bald Eagle
A species of bird of prey from the Accipitridae family. It is a symbol of the United States. This bird can be found near open water. Bald Eagle makes nests on trees. Characterized by a white head, strongly curved beak, and sharp claws. It feeds mainly on fish.

Black-Legged Kittiwake
A species of medium-sized bird from the Laridae family. Bird with white back and ashen wings. This species spends most of its life by the water. It feeds mainly on fish.

Roseate Spoonbill
A species of big-sized bird from the Threskiornithidae family. Inhabits coasts, lakes, and wetlands. It is a pink bird with darker-colored wings. This bird makes nests on trees. It feeds mainly on fish and snails.

Black-bellied Plover
A species of migratory bird from the Charadriidae family. Characterized by a black and white coloration. It makes nests in shallow depressions in the ground. It feeds mainly on insects.
