Welcome, dear visitors, to the place that once was Darkholm Orphanage:
Most of today's work went into the code that generates rooms, I believe, and I'm fairly happy with the results. There are still some issues--the code that detects isolated regions of the room (in order to prevent regions that the player can't reach) seems to be missing some cases, for one--but I'm glad of the progress that I've made thus far.
The pits that you see don't yet kill the player, but the framework for doing so is now there, I believe.
Close to my original idea!
Decided to go against it because I didn't want to animate a character, so kudos!
Pits were a bit of a mess to implement on my end, but no biggy.
